According to monitoring by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, 550 key commercial and trade circulation enterprises in Sichuan achieved cumulative sales of 2.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%. China UnionPay Merchant Services big data shows that during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, offline consumption in Sichuan reached 34.25 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%. During the holiday, trade-ins of consumer goods ushered in a boom, and localities across the province introduced policies tailored to local conditions to boost bulk consumption such as automobiles and home appliances. As of September 27, applications for trade-ins of consumer goods across the province this year reached 14.674 million, driving consumption of 102.29 billion yuan.
