Report: TSMC's 2nm chip monthly capacity expected to reach 120,000 wafers by year-end.

Media reports citing industry sources say TSMC is accelerating its 2-nanometer chip capacity expansion as major customers including Apple, Nvidia, AMD, Qualcomm and MediaTek increase orders by 10%-20%. The report says TSMC's monthly capacity for 2-nanometer chips could reach 120,000 wafers by the end of the year, higher than the previous market estimate of 90,000 to 100,000 wafers. The original 2027 capacity target for 2-nanometer chips will also be achieved ahead of schedule.
