Data released by Qunar, a Chinese online travel platform, on the 25th shows that on the first day of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, multiple Chinese-style theme parks were highly popular in China. Thanks to its Thousand Lanterns Grand Gathering and moon-worshiping night tour, Jiangxi Shangrao Gexian Village saw its ticket bookings on the 25th even higher than those of Shanghai Disneyland. Qunar data shows that on the first day of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the top 10 scenic spots in China by ticket bookings were: Shangrao Gexian Village, Shanghai Disneyland, Tangshan Hetou Old Street, Aba Jiuzhaigou, Beijing Universal Resort, Jiangxi Shangrao Wuyuan Huangling, Anhui Huangshan, Huai'an Journey to the West Park, Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden, and Pingxiang Wugong Mountain. Platform data shows that this week, searches for keywords related to "Mid-Autumn moon viewing" and "autumn outing" increased 3.1 times from the previous week; on September 25, the first day of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, domestic flight bookings increased by more than 60 percent year on year; on that day, the cities with the highest hotel check-in order volumes on the platform were: Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Qingdao, Chengdu, Xi'an, Guangzhou, and Jinan.
