PepsiCo (PEP.O) will raise prices on some chips, sodas, and dips again after several months of cuts, following the company's earlier pledge to make its snack products more affordable. According to people familiar with the matter, PepsiCo is expected to raise prices on large grocery-store bags of chips, including Doritos and Lay's Ruffles chips that were discounted earlier this year. The people said the price increases will also affect other brands including SunChips, and are expected to take effect by the end of this year or early 2027. A PepsiCo spokesperson said prices for some chip products will rise by low- to mid-single-digit percentages, in line with inflation, and the new prices will still be below levels before the earlier price cuts this year. The company is still working to maintain the lower prices it can sustain and remains committed to improving product affordability.
