Zhito Finance APP has learned that the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong welcomes the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) establishing an accession working group, officially launching the accession process for economies including Hong Kong. Cai Guanshen, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, believes that Hong Kong's accession to RCEP will not only benefit its own economic development, but also drive mutual benefit and win-win outcomes in the region. The working group is about to launch Hong Kong's accession process, marking substantive progress in Hong Kong's bid to join the world's largest free trade agreement.
