China Merchants Bank (03968.HK): Qualifications of Li Yungui and Huo Da as Non-Executive Directors Approved

("the Company" or "China Merchants Bank") has received the "Reply of the National Financial Regulatory Administration on the Qualification of Li Yungui as a Director of China Merchants Bank" (Jin Fu [2026] No. 521) and the "Reply of the National Financial Regulatory Administration on the Qualification of Huo Da as a Director of China Merchants Bank" (Jin Fu [2026] No. 522). According to the above replies, the qualifications of Mr. Li Yungui and Mr. Huo Da to serve as directors of China Merchants Bank have been approved. The terms of Mr. Li Yungui and Mr. Huo Da as non-executive directors of the Company shall both take effect from September 22, 2026, and end on the date of expiration of the thirteenth session of the Board of Directors of the Company.
