On September 15, reporters learned from Shenzhen's Longhua District that the Civil Aviation Administration of China Central-South Regional Administration has officially approved the relocation of the former Shenzhen Nantou Heliport to Zhangkengjing in Longhua, with the standard name confirmed as "Shenzhen Longhua Airport." According to reporters, the airport is positioned as an A1-class general aviation airport, located in the Zhangkengjing area of Longhua District, with a total land area of approximately 258,300 square meters and a building area of approximately 90,000 square meters. Its construction scale is more than twice that of the original site, with a total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan. The airport is planned to have an 800-meter runway and 26 aprons, along with a full set of general aviation facilities including a command and operations comprehensive building, various types of hangars, an aviation materials warehouse, and maintenance support buildings.
