On September 15, data from the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance showed that in August, domestic power battery installations reached 79.0GWh, up 5.9% month-on-month and up 26.3% year-on-year. Among them, ternary battery installations were 11.0GWh, accounting for 14.0% of total installations, down 1.0% month-on-month and up 0.9% year-on-year; lithium iron phosphate battery installations were 67.6GWh, accounting for 85.6% of total installations, up 7.0% month-on-month and up 31.0% year-on-year. From January to August, cumulative domestic power battery installations reached 489.1GWh, up 17.0% year-on-year. Among them, cumulative ternary battery installations were 85.6GWh, accounting for 17.5% of total installations, up 10.6% year-on-year; cumulative lithium iron phosphate battery installations were 402.7GWh, accounting for 82.3% of total installations, up 18.3% year-on-year.
