Preliminary statistics show 5.46 million visitor arrivals in Hong Kong in August.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced on the 15th that preliminary statistics for visitor arrivals in August this year reached 5.46 million, a year-on-year increase of 6%, setting a new single-month high since 2019. The Tourism Board said that a total of about 36.67 million visitor arrivals were recorded in the first eight months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 11%.
