Sumec stated at its 2026 semi-annual results briefing held on September 15 that, as of the end of June 2026, the company had 105 ships on order, with delivery schedules extending to 2030. The company continues to advance its diversified ship type layout, actively expanding into high-value-added vessel types such as feeder container ships, MR tankers, and multi-purpose vessels. In the first half of the year, it signed construction orders for a total of 6 65K MPP vessels, further optimizing its product structure.
