An ExxonMobil executive said on Tuesday that disruptions to liquefied natural gas supply from the Middle East will be short-term, noting that the region has a long history of providing reliable supply and additional supply during times of crisis. Andrew Barry, chairman of LNG market development at ExxonMobil, said at an industry event in Bangkok: "We believe the current situation is essentially short-term... Ultimately, it comes back to the importance of the Middle East in the long-term landscape, and from our perspective, that has not changed."
