Suzhou's foreign trade imports and exports in the first eight months reached 2.6 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 47.9%.

On September 14, the Information Office of the Suzhou Municipal Government and Suzhou Customs jointly held a press conference to report on the overview of Suzhou's foreign trade imports and exports from January to August. In the first eight months of this year, Suzhou's foreign trade imports and exports reached 2.6 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 47.9%, ranking first in the province and third among major foreign trade cities nationwide. Of this, exports were 1.53 trillion yuan, up 38.2%; imports were 1.07 trillion yuan, up 64.3%.
