Asian refiners await updates from Saudi Arabia after pipeline shutdown

After Saudi Arabia shut down a key oil pipeline due to a drone attack, Asian refiners are awaiting clear information about cargoes scheduled for loading at the Saudi Red Sea port of Yanbu. At least four refineries have yet to receive any official notice after inquiring about details of the facility's operating status; Saudi executives responsible for sales have also not responded to questions about the extent of damage to the facility. With multiple key oil transport routes already under strain, the closure of Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline has further weakened Asian refiners' options for transport routes.
