Ant Group acquires leading healthcare service provider Fengshi Health.

On August 18, it was reported that Ant Health has acquired Fengshi Health, a leading domestic medical health service provider, to enhance the one-stop direct payment experience of "health insurance + commercial insurance." This follows Ant Health's acquisition of Mint Health earlier this July, marking another step in expanding its ecosystem. After the completion of this acquisition, Fengshi Health's core capabilities will be fully integrated into Ant Health's service system. Previously, Ant Health had achieved the linkage of "health insurance code + commercial insurance code" along with one-stop settlement, serving users nationwide through the Alipay App and Ant Financial App. After this acquisition is completed, it is expected to expand coverage to over 1,500 private hospitals and international departments of public hospitals partnered with Fengshi Health. Industry insiders predict that with its past capabilities in AI health applications, health management services, and payment integration for health insurance and commercial insurance, Ant Health is likely to accelerate the construction of a health service ecosystem covering the entire lifecycle.
