Midea Group established a smart building equipment company in Chongqing.

On August 18, People's Finance News reported that the Qichacha APP shows that Chongqing Midea Smart Building Equipment Co., Ltd. was recently established, with Li Kai as the legal representative. The business scope includes: sales of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment; sales of household appliances; sales of household appliance parts; and sales of mechanical and electrical equipment, among others. The equity penetration analysis from Qichacha shows that the company is jointly owned by Hainan Midea Building Technology Co., Ltd. and Foshan Midea Air Conditioning Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., both of which are subsidiaries of Midea Group.
