The new Hengqin Port has been in operation for six years, with over 110 million travelers entering and exiting.

Today marks the sixth anniversary of the opening of the new Hengqin Port. According to statistics from the Zhuhai Border Inspection Station at Hengqin, from the opening on August 18, 2020 to August 17, 2026, the station has cumulatively inspected over 110 million entries and exits, with vehicle movements exceeding 13 million. The annual growth rates for personnel and vehicles have reached 37.5% and 35.1% respectively, making Hengqin Port one of the busiest cross-border channels in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
