Recently, the Foshan Housing Provident Fund Management Center issued a notice to adjust the minimum contribution for the provident fund. This adjustment is primarily due to the increase in the minimum wage standard in Guangdong Province, which has correspondingly raised the minimum contribution for the provident fund. The notice specifies that the contribution base must not be lower than the minimum wage standard for on-the-job employees in Foshan, with a lower limit set at 2,300 yuan. The minimum monthly personal contribution for employees in the unit is 115 yuan, and the minimum monthly contribution from the unit is also 115 yuan, resulting in a total minimum monthly contribution of 230 yuan. The minimum monthly contribution for flexible employment personnel is 230 yuan.
