Hutchison China MediTech Limited (00013): The combination therapy of Vorolanib and Tagrisso has demonstrated statistically and clinically significant improvements in progression-free survival and overall survival in patients with MET-driven EGFR mutant lung cancer after progression on Tagrisso.

Zhitong Finance APP reported that Hutchison China MediTech Limited (00013) announced that the combination therapy of Savolitinib (ORPATHYS) and Osimertinib (TAGRISSO) has achieved positive top-line results in the SAFFRON Phase III study, comparing to platinum-based doublet chemotherapy for the treatment of patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation-positive non-small cell lung cancer. The results show statistically and clinically significant improvements in progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). Patients in the study had tumors with high levels of MET overexpression or amplification and had previously experienced disease progression after treatment with TAGRISSO.
