26.2%! Hunan construction machinery "goes abroad" at an accelerated pace.

On the 16th, Changsha Customs announced that in the first seven months of this year, Hunan's export of construction machinery reached 24.73 billion yuan, an increase of 26.2% compared to the same period last year. Driven by Changsha, the export of construction machinery in the first seven months was 22.47 billion yuan, up 26.4%, accounting for over 90% of the province's total exports. Loudi and Changde made steady progress, exporting 1.16 billion yuan and 690 million yuan, ranking second and third respectively. Yongzhou, Yiyang, and Chenzhou saw rapid export growth, increasing by 14.2 times, 2.9 times, and 1.2 times respectively. In the first seven months, Hunan exported 20.01 billion yuan of construction machinery to countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, an increase of 28.6%, accounting for over 80% of the total, with a growth rate 2.6 percentage points higher than the overall export growth. Products such as crawler excavators and concrete mixing trucks are highly favored in overseas markets, with exports of 4.64 billion yuan, up 50.9%, and 1.87 billion yuan, up 43.2%, respectively.
