The death toll from the capsizing of a vessel in Zimbabwe has risen to 84.

The Zimbabwean police announced on the 16th that the death toll from the boat capsizing incident on Lake Kariba in the northern part of the country on the 11th has risen to 84. It is reported that 77 people have been rescued since the incident occurred. The police stated that there are still missing persons, and the search efforts continue.
