Sales of new energy refrigerated trucks are growing rapidly, accelerating the green transformation of the cold chain.
The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced the operating data for cold chain logistics in the first half of the year today. Against the backdrop of an improving macroeconomic environment and resilient growth in logistics operations, cold chain logistics has maintained a steady development trend in the first half of the year, with a moderate rebound in cold chain consumption demand and an accelerated push for green and low-carbon transformation. Driven by factors such as the growth of fresh e-commerce and urban distribution demand, along with strong support from new energy policies, the sales of new energy refrigerated trucks continue to grow rapidly. In the first half of the year, sales of new energy refrigerated trucks reached 20,285 units, a year-on-year increase of 92.3%, maintaining a high-speed growth trend. The penetration rate of new energy refrigerated trucks reached 48.2%, an increase of 12.4 percentage points compared to the same period last year. In the second quarter, the penetration rate rose to 54.7%, surpassing traditional fuel models for the first time, indicating that the process of greening cold chain transportation has entered a phase of accelerated development.
