Zhengzhou has terminated its Level Four Flood Emergency Response.
Notice from the Zhengzhou Flood Control and Drought Relief Command regarding the termination of the Level Four Flood Emergency Response
To all development zones and district/county flood control and drought relief command units, and members of the city flood control command:
The impact of Typhoon "White Dolphin" on our city has ended. The current meteorological situation is favorable, water conditions across the city are stable, no flood events have occurred, and key water conservancy projects are operating normally. According to the relevant provisions of the "Zhengzhou Flood Control Emergency Plan" and following comprehensive discussions and assessments, the City Flood Control and Drought Relief Command has decided to terminate the Level Four Flood Emergency Response at 14:00 on August 16.
Our city is still in the main flood season, and all levels and departments must firmly establish bottom-line thinking and extreme thinking, ensure that flood control responsibilities are firmly upheld, and continue to maintain a heightened state of alert. Focus should be on the risks of secondary disasters such as collapses and landslides, continuing to conduct post-rain inspections and implementing patrol and defense measures. A thorough review and summary must be carried out, with strict enforcement of duty attendance regulations, close monitoring of weather changes, timely replenishment of emergency materials, maintenance and upkeep of emergency rescue equipment, and solid preparations for the next round of rainfall, to fully safeguard the lives and property of the people.
