According to reports cited by Reference News from the EFE news agency, the Afghan government stated in a declaration on August 15, celebrating its fifth anniversary in power, that it hopes to coexist peacefully with the world and has called for an end to the "conspiracy" against Afghanistan, while assuring that Afghan territory will never be used to invade other countries. The Taliban of Afghanistan stated in the declaration: "Afghanistan is willing to coexist with all countries in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, and will never allow anyone to use Afghan territory to carry out actions against other countries. We also hope that other countries will not participate in any conspiracy against Afghanistan and will respect Afghanistan's territory, airspace, and related interests."
