Centaline Property: After falling for two consecutive weeks, the Centaline CCL has risen above 161 points, setting a nearly three-year high. We remain optimistic about the rise in property prices.
According to the Zhichun Financial APP, Yang Mingyi, Senior Co-Director of the Research Department at Centaline Property, pointed out that the latest CCL (Centaline City Leading Index) is reported at 161.13 points, up 0.82% week-on-week. This reflects the market situation in the week when the second round of sales for the Yuen Long Qianyu project and the first round of sales for the Saikung Daybreak Cape II phase 13 were launched on July 25. In the first week after the World Cup, the sales of new flats in Hong Kong were strong, and with the rebound of the Hong Kong stock market, it boosted the atmosphere in the property market. The CCL rebounded after falling for two consecutive weeks, surpassing 161 points and reaching its highest level since early September 2023, marking a new peak in 153 weeks (almost 3 years).
