Guotai Junan Securities: U.S. inflation continues to be mild, concerns over interest rate hikes temporarily ease.
Guotai Junan Securities released a research report stating that the US inflation data for July met expectations, showing a structurally strong performance in goods while services remained stable, alleviating some market concerns about a rate hike by the Federal Reserve in September. Currently, US inflation continues to be moderate, but caution is needed regarding the potential disruptions to the decline in inflation caused by rising oil prices and robust demand. If the inflation data for August does not exceed expectations and US employment maintains low growth, the Federal Reserve's observation period may be further extended, with the possibility of keeping interest rates unchanged in September.
