In June, the overall export volume and import volume of goods in Hong Kong increased by 34.3% and 27.5% year-on-year, respectively.

According to Zhichan Finance APP, on August 13, the Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government released statistics on the volume and price of external merchandise trade for June. Compared to June 2025, Hong Kong's overall export volume and import volume of goods in June 2026 increased by 34.3% and 27.5%, respectively. In the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, Hong Kong's overall export volume and import volume of goods increased by 28.7% and 30.4%, respectively.
