Dongfang Electric won the bid for the "CGN Golmud 350 MW Solar Thermal Demonstration Project" turbine generator set.

According to news from Dongfang Electric, recently, Dongfang Electric successfully won the bid for the "CGN Golmud 350 MW Concentrated Solar Power Demonstration Project" steam turbine generator unit section from China General Nuclear Power Corporation. The company will provide one 350 MW subcritical once-through reheating steam turbine generator unit for the project. Located in Golmud City, Qinghai Province, this project is a key benchmark project for clean energy in Qinghai Province. It is currently the demonstration project with the largest single-unit heat storage capacity and the largest mirror field area in the world.
