The first 10 million ton-level crude oil pipeline of the "14th Five-Year Plan" has been put into operation.

On August 13, the National Pipeline Network Group announced the successful commissioning of the Lianyungang to Yizheng section of the Lianyungang to Huai'an crude oil pipeline project, a key national oil and gas infrastructure project. This is the first crude oil pipeline with a capacity of ten million tons per year to commence operations at the start of the country's 14th Five-Year Plan, playing an important role in optimizing the energy supply structure in China's central and eastern regions and improving the layout of the "one national network" for oil and gas. After the commissioning of the Lianyungang to Huai'an section of the pipeline, it will connect with the already operational Rizhao to Yizheng pipeline, ultimately delivering crude oil to the eastern crude oil hub at Yizheng station, with a maximum daily throughput of 70,000 tons. This will support the refining enterprises in Jiangsu Province and along the Yangtze River, effectively enhancing the energy supply capabilities for users along the Yangtze River with multi-channel resource assurance, playing a significant role in optimizing the oil and gas pipeline layout in the Yangtze River Delta region and coordinating the import of crude oil resources.
