Guangdong: Striving to establish a batch of original technical standards in key areas such as integrated circuits.

The "Opinions of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province on Further Leveraging Standards to Promote High-Quality Economic and Social Development in Guangdong" has been released. The opinions propose to strengthen the synchronization of scientific and technological breakthroughs with standards. Focusing on the "Guangdong Strong Chip" project, the automotive chip "Climbing Plan", core software development projects, key equipment for display manufacturing, and industrialization actions, key standard development will be carried out simultaneously. Efforts will be made to form a batch of original technical standards in key areas such as integrated circuits, industrial software, industrial mother machines, scientific instruments, and medical devices. More common key technologies and applied scientific research project standards will be promoted to yield research results.
