According to a report by Taiwan's Economic Daily, Apple supplier Hon Hai (also known as Foxconn) has indirectly confirmed that the standard version of the iPhone 18 will be delayed until next year. Hon Hai revealed that one of its clients will adjust the smartphone shipping schedule it has adhered to in the past. Hon Hai held a conference call today to discuss its second-quarter earnings for 2026. During the meeting, it was stated that a client will change its usual smartphone shipment arrangement. As widely anticipated, Apple plans to launch the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the foldable "iPhone Ultra" in September this year, followed by the standard version of the iPhone 18 in the first quarter of 2027.
