The reporter learned today from the Financial Regulatory Administration that after Typhoon No. 13 "Bai Dolphin" made landfall this year, the Financial Regulatory Administration guided the insurance industry to fully respond, opening a green channel, providing proactive services, ensuring prompt payments, thorough compensation for eligible claims, and reasonable advance payments. They also collaborated with local party committees, governments, and relevant departments to carry out early warning rescues and insurance claims services. As of 3 PM on August 12, insurance institutions in six provinces, including Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Anhui, and Henan, had received nearly 130,000 reported claims, estimating losses at 1.75 billion yuan, with 80 million yuan already paid out.
