According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in July, automobile production and sales reached 2.573 million and 2.584 million units, respectively, representing month-on-month declines of 6.8% and 8%, and year-on-year declines of 0.7% and 0.3%. In July, new energy vehicles had production and sales of 1.576 million and 1.561 million units, respectively, showing year-on-year growth of 26.8% and 23.7%. Sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 60.4% of total new car sales.
