OpenAI's "No. 1 Business Employee" will resign, and more than ten executives have left since the beginning of the year.

On Tuesday, Eastern Time, OpenAI executive Brad Lightcap announced that he would be leaving the company to pursue new projects. Lightcap is considered a veteran executive at OpenAI and a long-time confidant of Altman. Even before the founding of OpenAI, Lightcap worked alongside Altman at the venture capital firm Y Combinator. Since OpenAI's establishment in 2015, he has consistently served as Altman's closest advisor. Notably, since the beginning of the year, more than ten executives have left OpenAI.
