On August 12, SMM learned that two leading silicon wafer companies have gradually resumed their pricing, with the latest prices being: N-type silicon wafer183mm at 0.9 yuan/piece; N-type silicon wafer210R at 1.0 yuan/piece; N-type silicon wafer210mm at 1.1 yuan/piece. The new round of silicon wafer pricing has increased by 0.1 yuan/piece compared to before. SMM analyzes that this round of silicon wafer price increases is closely related to cost policies, as the actual procurement costs for silicon wafer companies have risen, which corresponds to an increase in furnace operation costs. Therefore, the price increase for silicon wafers is expected.
