On the 11th, the Houthi armed group in Yemen expressed its willingness to maintain dialogue with Saudi Arabia, but simultaneously stated that they would continue to attack Saudi-related ships and military targets supported by Saudi Arabia unless certain demands were met. Mohammed Abdul Salam, the chief negotiator and spokesperson for the Houthis, released a statement on social media saying that the Houthi negotiating team is in contact and holding discussions with regional and international parties regarding the current situation, stating, "We have not closed the door to dialogue and negotiation." However, the statement also accused Saudi Arabia of refusing to negotiate and preparing to take further military action in Yemen.
