ByteDance's Seed AI data security head will resign, with no official response so far.

According to market news, Fu Yue, the head of Data and Security at Byte Seed AI, will be resigning soon, and his position will be taken over by Wang Yinglei, the head of the responsibility team for the TikTok platform and the former head of TikTok live streaming. There has been no official response from Byte on this matter. Reports indicate that Fu Yue directly reported to Wu Yonghui at Byte Seed, and previously oversaw Global Data; he is currently the top position in AI Data and Security. Public information shows that Fu Yue graduated from Peking University for his undergraduate degree and later obtained an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School. Fu joined Byte in 2018 and has held key positions in TikTok's Trust and Safety Department and the TikTok e-commerce operations department. In 2022, Fu Yue left to start his own venture, but returned to Byte in October 2023 as the head of training data.
