Libya may close an oil refinery due to ongoing drone attacks.

On the 11th, the National Oil Corporation of Libya stated that if drone attacks on the oil facilities in the western city of Zawiya continue, the company may declare "force majeure" and completely halt operations at the Zawiya refinery. Local oil facilities have recently been subjected to consecutive drone attacks. The National Oil Corporation of Libya reported that the most recent drone attack targeted an oil blending and filling plant operated by the Zawiya refinery, with the drone falling near a major storage tank and a network of pipelines. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage. The National Oil Corporation stated that this is the third drone attack on the Zawiya oil facilities that occurred between the 9th and 10th.
