Zhongzhi Research Institute: In the first seven months, the nationwide auctioned residential transactions increased by more than 40% year-on-year.

According to data released by the China Index Academy, from January to July, the number of nationwide residential properties for auction reached 245,000 units, an increase of 23.1% year-on-year; the number of successful auctions was 89,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 42.7%; the clearance rate was 36.2%, up 4.97 percentage points from the previous year; the total transaction amount was 96.975 billion yuan, an increase of 21.04% year-on-year. The average transaction price for residential properties sold at auction from January to July was 8,081 yuan per square meter, down 9.1% year-on-year.
