On August 10 local time, the latest monitoring data released by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute shows that extreme drought has affected approximately 59% of the country's land area, with the affected area continuing to expand compared to a week ago; abnormal to extreme drought has covered about 95% of the country, impacting nearly all regions.
