Boyaa Interactive (00434.HK) expects a mid-term loss attributable to shareholders of approximately HKD 790 million to HKD 800 million.
According to the announcement by BoYa Interactive (00434.HK), due to the decline in Bitcoin prices during the first half of 2026, the group's digital assets are expected to experience a fair value decrement for the six months ending June 30, 2026. As a result, the group anticipates a loss attributable to the owners of the company of approximately HKD 790 million to 800 million for the same period. Excluding the impact of non-operating one-time factors such as fair value changes in financial assets like digital assets and equity investments in partnerships, the group expects to achieve a profit attributable to the owners of the company for the six months ending June 30, 2026, which will be approximately 120% to 125% higher compared to the same period in 2025, primarily due to an anticipated increase in the groups online gaming revenue for the six months ending June 30, 2026, compared to the same period in 2025.
