Wuhan will add a new high-speed rail station.

According to Hubei Release, based on the announcement of the qualification review documents for the construction of the station building project of the new Hefei-Wuhan high-speed railway and related projects at the Changjiang New District Station, the planned start and completion dates for the Changjiang New District Station have been confirmed: the planned start date is September 1, 2026, and the planned completion date is June 30, 2028, with a planned construction duration of 668 calendar days. The Changjiang New District Station is located in the northern central part of Wuhan, bordered to the north by Huangpi District and to the south by Changjiang New City. The station is 22.86 km west of Wuhan Tianhe Station and 24.726 km east of Hong'an Station.
