Bitcoin declines, influenced by a cooling of hopes for a Federal Reserve interest rate cut.
Bitcoin fell during the Asian trading session. Analysts at Novaque Research stated that the cooling expectations for a Federal Reserve interest rate cut, along with ongoing concerns about U.S. inflation, continue to dampen demand for cryptocurrency assets. Meanwhile, as more leveraged traders bet on long-term gains and new Bitcoin supply enters the market, Bitcoin may face additional selling pressure. Novaque added that if prices fail to rise, these traders might be forced to deleverage, potentially triggering another wave of selling. Bitcoin dropped 0.2%, trading at $64,253.50.
