Institution: The shipment growth of AI servers in 2026 has been revised upward to nearly 31%.

According to the latest AI server industry research by TrendForce, amidst the surging demand for AI infrastructure, the total capital expenditure of the top nine global cloud service providers is estimated to increase by approximately 90% year-on-year by 2026. Recently, there has been a noticeable increase in the willingness of large CSPs and Tier-2 data center operators to procure AI server solutions such as NVIDIAs GB/VR rack-mounted systems. Additionally, Google and AWS are set to roll out their new generation ASIC platforms in the second half of 2026. Coupled with Chinese companies expanding their use of domestic AI solutions to meet the AI demands of large language models in the cloud, TrendForce has raised its forecast for the annual growth rate of AI server shipments in 2026 from the previous 28% to nearly 31%.
