Minsh Group: Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for New Factory in Alabama, USA

Minmetals Group has announced a voluntary notice stating that a groundbreaking ceremony for a new production facility in Gadsden, Alabama, USA will be held on August 3, 2026. The project will be located on approximately 400 acres of the former Republic Steel and Gulf States Steel site, with a total investment expected to reach around $430 million in phases. Once completed, the project will become the largest production base of the group globally, expected to create over 1,300 jobs, with the first phase of capacity anticipated to be operational in 2027.
