This year's 13th typhoon "White Dolphin" is gradually approaching the coastal areas of Zhejiang, with wind power continuing to strengthen. The Zhoushan Maritime Safety Administration has initiated a Level III emergency response for typhoon prevention at 8:00 PM on August 5. Due to the strong winds at sea, as of 3:00 PM on the 6th, 21 passenger ferry routes in Zhoushan have been suspended; the ferry service from Zhujiajian to Putuoshan will operate its last trip at 8:00 PM on August 6, after which the entire route will be suspended, with an estimated suspension period of 4 to 5 days. By then, all 72 passenger ferry routes in Zhoushan will be fully suspended. The maritime authorities remind travelers planning to visit the islands during the summer to closely monitor official typhoon warnings and information on the suspension and resumption of ferry services, and to adjust their travel plans accordingly. During the impact of the typhoon, travel to coastal islands in Zhejiang should be temporarily postponed.
