Weichuang Electric's subsidiary, Jiten Electric, signed a contract for the oil-to-electric conversion project of the tire cranes at the Shanghai Zhenhua and Huang Aman OICT terminal.
According to Weichuang Electric's news, recently, its subsidiary Changzhou Jiteng Electric Co., Ltd. successfully signed a contract for the RTG oil-to-electric conversion system project with Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries and Huang Aman OICT terminal. The project primarily includes the retrofitting of 11 RTGs from oil to electric and the deployment of 12 new RTG battery peak shaving systems along with upgrades to related supporting facilities. The core components integrated into this system utilize Weichuang Electric's AC800 multi-channel series DC/DC, AFE, and CVCF modules, which not only meet the "zero carbon" emission requirements for the terminal but also help in peak shaving and capacity expansion of the grid. Once completed, it will effectively reduce equipment energy consumption and operational maintenance costs, enhance operational stability and efficiency, and support the terminal in energy conservation, emission reduction, and improvement of overall operational levels.
