Lenovo Capital has invested in the R&D company for lithium niobate modulator chips, NiAo Optoelectronics.

According to the Qichacha APP, recently, Jiangsu Nio Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. underwent a business change, adding Hainan Yunfeng Fund Center, Shanghai Lenovo Future Venture Capital Partnership, among others, as shareholders, while the registered capital increased to 57.2391 million yuan. Qichacha information shows that the company was established in 2020, and its business scope includes: integrated circuit chip design and services; integrated circuit design; sales of integrated circuit chips and products; sales of optical instruments, etc. According to its official website, Nio Optoelectronics focuses on the design, research and development, and sales of thin-film lithium niobate modulator chips and related optical interconnection devices.
