The Houthi armed forces in Yemen stated that they attacked a Saudi oil tanker named "Wafa" using ballistic missiles in the Red Sea waters north of Yanbu, claiming the missiles directly hit the target. This marks the eighth Saudi oil tanker the Houthis claim to have attacked since the blockade operations began on July 22. The Houthis also claim that they have forced an additional 29 Saudi oil tankers to turn back while navigating through the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.
