On August 4, Xiaohongshu released a governance announcement regarding harmful content related to minors, such as toxic animations: Xiaohongshu places a high priority on online protection for minors and considers safeguarding their healthy growth as an important responsibility of the platform. To implement the requirements of the Clear and Bright: Online Protection for Minors special action, the platform continues to strengthen the governance of harmful content and illegal activities involving minors. Since the launch of the special action, as of August 4, the platform has conducted a comprehensive review of dozens of categories involving high-risk content for minors, resulting in the disposal of over 84,000 violating posts, more than 105,000 violating comments, and 3,571 violating accounts.
