The three major A-share indices collectively rose in early trading. By the midday break, the Shanghai Composite Index was up 1.34%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.56%, the ChiNext Index increased by 0.89%, the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 climbed 2.29%, and the Science and Technology Innovation 50 Index surged by 5.18%. The total market turnover was 1,702.5 billion yuan, an increase of 332.9 billion yuan compared to the previous day, with over 3,900 stocks rising across the market. In terms of sectors, electronic chemicals, MLCC concept stocks, precious metals, minor metals, and memory chips saw the largest gains; while oil and gas exploration and services, banks, liquor, traditional Chinese medicine, and pharmaceutical commerce experienced the most significant declines. On the trading front, the electronic chemicals sector opened lower but gained momentum, with stocks like Zhongjuxin-U, Jianghua Micro, and Haixing Co., Ltd. hitting the daily limit. Xingfu Electronics, China Shipbuilding Gas, and Guoci Materials led the gains. The precious metals sector opened strong and continued to rise, with Sichuan Gold hitting the daily limit, followed by Zhuzhi Group, Xiaocheng Technology, and Chifeng Gold showing notable increases. The minor metals sector performed robustly, with Yunnan Zinc Industry, China Tungsten High-tech, and Dongfang Tantalum Industry hitting the daily limit, while Xiamen Tungsten Industry, Dongfang Zirconium Industry, and Zhangyuan Tungsten Industry had the largest gains. Conversely, the oil and gas exploration and services sector was sluggish, with Tongyuan Petroleum, Keli Co., Ltd., and China National Offshore Oil Corporation leading the decliners.
